Final Fantasy XIII ships 5 million copies

Final Fantasy XIII has shipped 5 million copies worldwide, Square Enix announced in a press release Wednesday. Of those 5 million, 3 million units were shipped outside of Japan. Keep in mind, however, that this staggering number does not reflect the amount of units sold.

Nintendo Wii & DS hardware sales reach 192 million worldwide

Nintendo has released its latest financials today and with it given us a breakdown of worldwide sales of its current hardware lines.
Worldwide sales of the Wii now total 67 million. That splits across the different regions as follows:
The Americas: 32 million
Japan: 9.7 million
Europe and the rest: 25.7 million
DS sales have been even better totalling 125 [...]
