I, too, dream of the Raon Everun Note running OSX
Chippy over at UMPCPortal just spotted something quite amazing, which sums up why some people are going a bit gaga over Raon’s pricey little netbook, the Everun Note.
First, see Adam K’s winning entry in a competition, held by Engadget in 2006. The idea was to design a great new Mac (”What would Jobs do?”)

Now, two years on, here’s the 3G-equipped Note, displaying an OSX screengrab.

I believe the phrase that young people use to describe the appropriate sentiment is “Do want.”
Unfortunately, getting OSX running on an AMD-based system is the “unified field theory” of hacking: get one part of it working, and everything else breaks.
