Leaked From the Underground: The Asus N10

These recently leaked pictures are of the Asus N10 - AsusTek’s next generation Eee PC after the 901 and 1000 models. The new design appears to be well-constructed and made mostly of high quality plastic that has a glossy finish.
The N10 features the same Intel Atom N270 processor as the previous Eee PCs, thus we can expect equal or better battery life. However, the most major improvement in this model is the 10.2inch display. From the photos, we can see that Asus has removed the anti-glare filter and instead opted for a glossy coating to be applied. The anti-glare filter was a frequent complaint of Eee PC users as it often made the screen blurry or “hazy”.
Other improvements include the addition of more hard disk space, 320GB to be exact, and the addition of a thumb-print reader in between the left and right-click buttons. It is unclear at this moment however, if the solid-state versions of this new Eee will feature the much rumoured and highly anticipated Single Layer Cell SSDs that would provide even faster write and read speeds.
At present, it is speculated that this new model will be priced somewhere between US$500 and $640 dollars. We’ll be waiting Asus…
