Microsoft strikes back: Office 2010 arrives in H1 2009, includes free online apps that rival Google Docs
Not content with letting Google steal the spotlight with Chrome OS and Apps announcements last week, Microsoft shifted Office 2010 into a higher gear, adding new online companion services designed to rival Google Docs. Web-based apps will allow you to perform basic document editing features in a browser, the first for the Office suite.
