Intel steps up, gives virtualization to more CPUs
Intel announced yesterday that they would be converting the following CPUs to the R-0 stepping: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300, Intel Pentium E5300 and E5400, Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 and E7500. Intel states the reason for the bump to the R-0 stepping, which will become effective on August 3, 2009, is:
